Tracy Laing is warm, compassionate, and experienced clinician who is passionate and dedicated to helping clients heal, grow, and accomplish optimal wellbeing through the counseling profession. Tracy believes that facilitating a warm, caring, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment helps to provide clients with a sense of safety and security that supports and guides their journey for personal growth. Tracy incorporates an integrative approach inclusive of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Choice Therapy, and Group Therapy. Tracy’s specialties include working with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of mental and emotional challenges including Anxiety, Depression, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ASD, Behavior Modification, Grief, Spirituality, Adjustment Disorder, Marriage and relationship issues, Anger Management, Stress Management, and Self-Care Management.
Tracy graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Tracy’s counseling experiences come from a variety of therapeutic settings including private practice, substance abuse, residential, and community counseling.
In her spare time, Tracy enjoys traveling, reading, writing, playing board games, running, dining out, going to the beach and spending quality time and gaining new experiences with family and friends. Tracy also enjoys serving in the community and believes in the power of positive social change, effected through seemingly small acts, one person at a time.
